The final week of activities culminated in our first Raven Challenge – the 3-wheel bike MEA. The Model-Eliciting Activity (MEA) was a team race that required students to develop an efficient plan for picking up and dropping off cargo around their community. The race winner is not necessarily the fastest rider as success also called for careful design of the bike trailer for carrying a variety of size and weight cargo, as well as good race strategy in determining the order of events involved in the competition.
