The year 1 summer program for students ran from June 2, 2008 – July 3, 2008. The overarching themes for the program were force and motion. Students completed projects at the UMN-Twin Cities and Crookston campuses, we well as the Circle of Life School. A week-long teacher and after-school staff training occurred from July 21- 25, 2008. Thirty-two teachers, principals, and after-school staff attended the training which focused on inquiry-based science instruction and integration of technology and mathematics into science lessons. for more information click on the Teacher Workshop tab.
